Zuko is the exiled prince of the Fire Nation in Avatar: The Last Airbender, the animated series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. He is the son of Fire Lord Ozai and the nephew of Iroh, and he was banished after a confrontation with his father that left a scar across his face.

For much of the series he hunts the Avatar, Aang, hoping to regain his honor and return home. His pursuit slowly changes as he questions what he was taught about the war. Iroh, his uncle and mentor, is a steady presence throughout, and their shared cups of tea come to stand for patience and loyalty. Zuko is driven by honor, family, and a wish to be understood.
